This is a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's). If a questions gets asked enough we will add it to this list. We understand that the concept of OBLITUS may be confusing to some so please feel free to ask any questions you may have. There is no such thing as a stupid question. 01. Where is Oblitus? No one is really sure where Oblitus is. It's as if it is a parallel universe. There is no record of anyone being able to go back to the "real world" once they enter Oblitus. No one in the "real world" knows about Oblitus. It's a woodsy area with no modern day technology from the "real world," but the Orphans seem to manage just fine.
02. How do Orphans get to Oblitus? Orphans end up in Oblitus by transporting through a veil. They enter in the Atrium and where all new Orphans are welcomed in a ceremony. Orphans are sent to Oblitus once they are forgotten.
03. What does Oblitus mean? Oblitus is the Latin word for "forgotten."
04. How old do the Orphans in Oblitus become? None of the Orphans age physically once they enter Oblitus. Mentally they progress as if in the "real world" and they age just as they would normally. The only difference is that the oldest Oblitus Orphan recorded was 120 years old. Most Orphans are able to reach this age, as long as they don't become ill or die for other unnatural reasons, i.e. being killed.
05. Is Olbitus an orphanage? No. Oblitus is not an orphanage. It's almost like a "magical land" that is its own community.
06. Are there only children here? Yes and no. The oldest a child can be when he/she enters Oblitus is 17. They will mentally grow to become older, but their bodies will not. The youngest a child can be is eight. No true adults reside here.
