D A R K E N E D } - - - hours
Peace is slowly disappearing in the forest. Fighting is breaking out over territories and borders and every cat seems to be growing more and more irritable with another. The clans are slowly distancing themselves apart. It has rained for countless moons and all of the territories are flooding because of StarClan's wrath. But a sign of hope bubbles out of a dark place.
A group of cat's that calls themselves the Masquerade has started to work it's way into the each of the clans' lives. They are working toward becoming a true clan, and as they are doing so, the other clans' tension starts to weed down. The rain eases up and gatherings slowly begin again. Masquerade has found that now that they have coaxed peace out and into the other cat's, that it is time to unleash their own distruction.
As everything finally seems to be returning to normal, Masquerade seems to disappear, leaving only it's paw steps and scents. A group of cats that is made up from each of the clan's is sent to explore, but none of them return. They are taken captive, but not by an unknown force... by Masquerade.
Two more groups of cat's are sent out to find the missing cat's as well as Masquerade. When they too go missing, one of the leaders goes along with to make sure that they bring back answers. The leader's group is captured as well. After several long weeks of being captured, they are able to get one of the captured cat's out and to run back to their clan and inform the other's of the situation.
It will be up to the clan's on how to figure out this situation... will they ever be able to get back their warrior's and be able to defeat the ever growing numbers of masquerade or will it only be a matter of time before the entire forest is under their wrath.
