It's been a year since the great detective, Sherlock Holmes, appeared to have committed suicide. But now he has revealed to his few friends that he had faked his death, and has successfully revealed that James Moriarty had been real, and not a character he invented for his own purposes. All of the matter has been cleared up, and he is living at 221B Baker Street with John Watson, solving crimes once again.
But Sherlock Holmes will be surprised when he discovers he was not the only one to have faked a death that day. James Moriarty, the mastermind consultant criminal and Holmes' intellectual equal, has returned. He's back on the streets and planning an intricate web of crime that will shock the city of London. Soon all will be at stake, and anyone that Holmes ever knew will be dragged into the battle of wits.
Who will win: the great detective, or the psychopathic criminal?
